Digital Leaders
At Marlborough Primary School, our Digital Leaders are a team of enthusiastic and responsible pupils who champion the safe and effective use of technology across the school. They support staff and our pupils by assisting with ICT equipment, sharing tips on staying safe online, and helping to introduce new digital tools to our school. As role models for digital learning, our Digital Leaders take part in projects, offer peer support in developing essential skills for the digital age and help make our school a safe, innovative and more connected place to learn.

Meet Our Digital Leaders
|
Don (Year 6)
“What I like the most about my role is helping my peers, especially children in KS1 because I feel really proud when they understand the instructions in Computing or on a device. It has been rewarding to see them improve when they move up to the next year group. My favourite thing about technology is that you can research a huge amount of information to help with your learning.” |
|
Lizzy (Year 6)
“My favourite part of being a Digital Leader has been working in a team together to help other teachers and children! We get a lot of great experiences being a Digital Leader and that feeling of helping someone else makes you feel so good inside. I think technology is and will be extremely important in the future and it’s great to learn so much about it now for when we are adults.” |
|
Ricky (Year 6)
“My favourite memory as a Digital Leader has been to help with the technology in assemblies each week to help Mrs McKeever give key information to everybody who is there. I have also loved helping others, especially in Year 1 and Year 5 where I made the most difference. I love that you can do anything with technology like getting better with reading and creating new projects on different apps.” |
|
Idris (Year 6)
“I have really enjoyed helping other children to learn in Computing and with different devices. I feel proud helping others. I love that you can use technology to learn and play educational games.” |
|
Saanvi (Year 6)
“I think my favourite part of being a Digital Leader has been helping children in KS1 with their Computing and using technology because I really enjoy helping and taking on a leadership role. I’m really glad to have been a Digital Leader because the responsibility means I got opportunities to help in assembly and visit the BETT show. You can do anything on technology and it doesn’t only help one part of your learning but it helps in so many areas and used for so many purposes.” |
|
Jameela (Year 6)
“Helping classes in school has been my favourite part of being a Digital Leader because not only is it helping the children and adults, it also helps me to learn. Being a Digital Leader in assembly has been fun as it’s a new opportunity for me and I like the responsibility. Technology is always expanding and new cool things are available to try. It also helps with your learning which is valuable!” |
